Distributed Data Management in the Unwired Enterprise
Wednesday, August 6 | 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. PDT
Dr. Raj Nathan, Senior VP & CMO, Sybase, Inc.

Data is the central theme of the Unwired Enterprise. Data management extends beyond storage and direct access to databases; it extends to distribution and virtual access of data. Our customers' infrastructures have shifted from siloed views of data to managing distributed and integrated views of data. They are being challenged by a new set of problems e.g. how to support extreme transactions like machine based trading, how to extend data to multiple channels like mobile, and how to operate in a heterogeneous environment with different vendors' solutions. The good news is that Sybase provides a comprehensive set of optimized technologies for our customers to choose the right infrastructure for the distributed data management problems. In this session we will cover Sybase's capabilities to address the next generation of distributed data management challenges.
