Query Processing Tuning(QPTune) 

  • A query analysis tool that identifies "problem" queries i.e. those that runs slow on ASE 15 by capturing query text and a variety of metrics that include elapsed time, logical and physical I/O.
  • A statistics advisory function that will identify and create missing statistics that is fundamental to the ASE 15 optimizer to choose correct plans.
  • Be able to compare metrics across multiple runs and be able to tune ASE both at a server and a query level.
