SyberLearning LIVETM Readiness

We bring the learning to you...

PREPARING FOR YOUR SYBERLEARNING LIVE CLASS

Lecture Session Setup

AT&T Connect Readiness. SyberLearning LIVE classes use the AT&T Connect Participant client software. The week before class, you must run the AT&T Connect setup and demo connection to prepare your PC.

Launch the AT&T Connect demo to learn about features and functions you can use while attending SyberLearning LIVE.

SyberLearning LIVE  Invitations for your event are generated in your Instructor's name on the Thursday before the class start date. You will receive separate invitations for each day containing the link to that day's event. View a sample AT&T Connect Invitation email.

SyberLearning LIVE Audio. SyberLearning LIVE uses VOIP (Voice Over IP) audio technology. To participate, you will need a headset (with mic) or a microphone & speakers connected to your PC.

System Requirements:

  • Windows 2000 Pro, Windows XP with SP1+, Windows Vista, or Windows 7
  • 1 GHz CPU
  • 256 MB RAM
  • 1024x768+ monitor resolution, with High (16 bit) color+
  • Standard sound card
  • Skype compatible headset with microphone
  • DSL, cable modem, corporate LAN, or other broadband Internet access
  • Internet Explorer 6+ (This is the only supported browser and must be set as your default for class; Mozilla, Firefox, and Netscape browsers are not supported at this time.)

Adobe Acrobat. SyberLearning LIVE events allow you to download student materials in Acrobat PDF format.

Lab Environment Setup

You will be able to conduct your class labs remotely on a virtual machine (VM) in the Sybase Education virtual lab environment. (NOTE that your VM lab connection is completely separate from your AT&T Connect lecture connection.) Your VM will be available starting the first day of class. Your instructor will provide connection information at that time.

Optionally, you may be able to conduct the labs on your local PC if the appropriate licensed software is installed and configured to course specifications.
