Objectives
- Identify organizational business goals and technical requirements for implementation of the appliance
- Train technical staff in the operation and use of the Sybase Analytic Appliance, including overall architecture and components (Sybase IQ, Sybase ETL, Sybase PowerDesigner, MicroStrategy Desktop, Appliance Management Console)
- Work alongside your staff to set up a working Sybase Analytic Appliance environment to include: logical and physical data models; extract, transform and load procedures from data sources into the appliance; MicroStrategy Desktop reporting; and appliance management using the Appliance Management Console

- Initiate discovery process to determine technical requirements and environment specifics

- Construct logical and physical models in PowerDesigner utilizing customer data
- Set up source and extract load targets to demonstrate transformation capabilities using customer data
- Establish a working Sybase Analytic Appliance environment with a test set of tables and automated data loading
- Provide basic reporting instruction using MicroStrategy tools
- Demonstrate operation of the Appliance Management Console to manage, view and change various aspects of the appliance
- Deliver summarized findings in a detailed engagement report
