Adaptive Server Anywhere, the relational database at the core of SQL Anywhere Studio, is a transaction-based SQL database designed for personal and workgroup use.

UltraLite is used to build and deploy relational database applications on small devices using the Palm, Windows CE, and VxWorks platforms.

UltraLite Component Suite allows a developer to create UltraLite applications with Appforge, Visual BASIC, eMbedded Visual Basic on PocketPC and/or PalmOS; or with Java on PocketPC using the Jeode Java VM.

MobiLink is intended for the two-way synchronization of data between a central, consolidated database and a large number of remote databases. The central database can be Adaptive Server Anywhere, Adaptive Server Enterprise, or another DBMS such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or IBM DB2

SQL Remote is a message-based technology intended for the two-way replication of data between a central database and many remote databases.With SQL Remote, you can replicate data between laptop computers and a central database, using SMTP/POP, MAPI, VIM, FTP or file sharing.

Sybase Central is a database administration tool that provides Adaptive Server Anywhere database settings, properties, and utilities in a graphical user interface. Sybase Central can also be used for managing other Sybase products including MobiLink synchronization with non-Sybase consolidated databases.
