When your business application development needs required version control, you chose Sybase ObjectCycle technology tailored to deliver reliable version control for any project. We thank you for your support of our technology.

It is necessary to convey news of great importance to you. Sybase has halted its development on the ObjectCycle product. We have taken our development resources and refocused them on other key offerings like PowerBuilder, PowerJ, Sybase Enterprise Application Server, and Sybase Enterprise Application Studio. And we are exploring new technologies that may replace and improve your investment in ObjectCycle.

As a result of this decision, ObjectCycle will no longer be an individual offering from Sybase. Businesses needing additional ObjectCycle licenses may attain them exclusively through Sybase Enterprise Application Studio 2.0, PowerBuilder 6.5 and PowerJ2.5 for a limited time.

Sybase will continue to offer technical support to customers who have made an investment in ObjectCycle until June 30, 2000. Additionally, if you currently use ObjectCycle as part of any other Sybase products (Sybase Enterprise Application Studio, PowerBuilder, or PowerJ), you will continue to receive ObjectCycle support through these products beyond June 30, 2000.

As well, we have made available the final maintenance release for ObjectCycle. ObjectCycle version 2.0.04 provides Year 2000 compliance and is available at downloads.sybase.com/swx for immediate download.
