Advantage 10 Performance Comparison

Most of these improvements can be realized by simply upgrading the server, without client side changes. By not requiring client side changes, distribution requirements are minimal which allows you to quickly and easily reap the performance benefits in your application.

Typically a single improvement will not result in noticeable application performance gains. However, the combination of Advantage 10’s improvements working together has proven to impressively boost performance both during internal testing and by early external adopters. While overall application performance will vary based on functionality and other factors, overall performance should improve for most customers who upgrade from v9.x to version 10.x. In some cases, performance improvements reported by customers have been in the 20 – 30% improvement range.
