Please note that Sybase is not announcing the end of engineering support for OpenSwitch 15.x.  The purpose of this letter is simply to announce the end of engineering support for older versions of the Linux, IBM, and Windows operating systems on which OpenSwitch 15.x operates.  If you are using OpenSwitch 15.x on older versions of the Linux, IBM, or Windows operating system, please migrate to supported versions before the end of engineering support date.  This EOL notice affects all components and options (if applicable) of OpenSwitch 15.x.

Sybase encourages you to begin migration plans as soon as possible to migrate before the end of engineering support to a supported product and platform as identified in the "Migration Path" column in the table above.

For customers with a current Support Agreement for a product who have elected not to migrate to a new platform by the end of engineering support, continued limited technical support assistance will be made available, subject to the availability of resources.  This limited assistance after the end of engineering support consists of providing existing interim releases (i.e.; updates, if any, developed for the product prior to the end of engineering support), telephone and electronic assistance, and migration advice to customers migrating to Sybase supported platforms.  It does not include engineering support, new bug fixes or integration of any bug fixes into previous updates.

If you have any questions, please call your local Sybase Technical Support Center.  One of our Customer Service representatives will respond to your questions or direct your call to someone who can.  For the number of your closest Technical Support Center, please go to: www.sybase.com/contactus/support.

Thank you for your cooperation in this product transition.  We regret any inconvenience that discontinuing this product on certain platforms may cause your organization.  Our support staff is available to assist you in any way possible.

Sincerely,

Liti Huang
