Sybase realizes that there are multiple approaches to diversifying the supply base of our enterprise. Some of our business needs require large, global companies for national or global deals. Other requirements can leverage small, nimble, local vendors that can meet special needs. When we source, we do so at a national level, a project level and sometimes on a contract by contract basis. The companies we evaluate can be national, regional or local as long as they meet the diverse needs and objectives of our stakeholders.
