Sybase Showcases Leadership and Innovation at Annual Techwave Conference
Sybase's ninth annual TechWave and 21st annual user conference officially took place August 6-10. The 115 technical breakouts and multiple education classes offered throughout the week focused on helping attendees create an "information edge" for their organization to meet what Sybase sees coming in the future. For the 2nd year in a row, Sybase iAnywhere offered technical summits focused exclusively on Advantage Database Server, Afaria, SQL Anywhere and RemoteWare.

The big news of the week was the unveiling of a new mobility architecture that Sybase Chairman, CEO and President John Chen and CMO Raj Nathan detailed in Tuesday's and Wednesday's keynote addresses.
