Terms of Use

RSS (Real Simple Syndication) is a service that allows you to choose content you like from a Web site and have it delivered directly to you as updates become available. So instead of continually visiting each Web site to find new content, RSS feeds provide specific content you are interested in delivered directly to your news reader or populated into your personal portal (such as My Yahoo).

How can I receive RSS feeds from Sybase.com?
RSS feeds are a free subscription service on Sybase.com. The first step in using this technology is to choose and install a news reader. There are two types of news readers: those that are closely integrated with Mozilla-compatible browsers (i.e., Firefox, Opera and Safari), and those that can be downloaded as client applications and run on your computer. Both browser-based or software-based news readers allow you to subscribe to RSS feeds of your choice.

How do I subscribe to Sybase.com RSS feeds?
You can subscribe to several different types of content on Sybase.com (for example, press releases, white papers, success stories, news). As with other Web sites, availability of RSS feeds is indicated via an RSS button

If you click on the RSS orange button you can subscribe by
1. Dragging the URL of the RSS feed into your news reader, or
2. Cutting & pasting the same URL into a new feed in your news reader.

My Yahoo! users:
1. Click on the "Add to My Yahoo!" button.
2. Follow the instructions for adding the feed to your My Yahoo! page.
As new content is published on Sybase.com and added to those pages, it will also populate your RSS news reader automatically with links that can point you to the full article on the Sybase.com site.
